For almost 60 years, the MMM Congress has been the industry kick-off for the consumer goods sector in German-speaking countries. In normal times, around 800 guests would gather in Munich for this event. This year, on 8/9 February 2021, the business summit took place for the first time as a virtual format, which we had the pleasure of implementing from A to Z. With the new concept, the MMM Club reacted to current developments and took the opportunity to become more digital and flexible. No sooner said than planned! On the specially programmed digital event platform, the leading personalities from trade, the food industry and related business sectors came together (virtually) and experienced content-rich lectures. Some of the speakers were on site in the studio, others were connected live. The portfolio was supplemented by discussion panels and break-out sessions. A digital wine tasting provided a moment of enjoyment in the evening. With a tool for "business speed dating", the participants were also able to network optimally. The conclusion: a virtual event, real experience!
